Nathan Maurer

Principle

Nathan Maurer began his career in real estate and development in 1996. Although younger by far than the average realtor, Nathan found early success through great work ethic and a drive to succeed. While working as a residential and commercial agent in the early going, he also broadened into other areas of real estate such as buying rentals and real estate development. Since that time, he has built a large number of new homes and developed multiple subdivisions.

 

            In 2005, Maurer joined three partners in opening a new “non-franchised” real estate company in his hometown of Poplar Bluff, MO and within the first few months, became the number one company in their market. In 2012 Maurer bought out his partners and Poplar Bluff Realty, Inc. and Legacy Farm & Land Division has not only continued to grow and flourish, but now moves more property than any real estate company in it’s quad-state region of the Midwest.

 

            During the period of 2007-2009 when real estate was taking somewhat of a downturn, Maurer saw an opportunity to reach out and buy short sale properties from large banks at huge discounts, while most investors were running the other way. The ability to think outside the box and find the balance of aggressive, yet smart investments, has been a key to his continued success.

Colby is an experienced professional with a successful career Contracting in Heavy Civil Construction and Commercial Construction. Bridge, Piling and Cofferdam, Sewer Water and Gas, Wastewater, Storm Water, Earth moving, erosion, Environmental Control and various types of Commercial Building and Site Development Construction. The projects managed and delivered over the last 20 years are of the highest Integrity, Quality and Contract Compliance, striving to exceed the owner's needs and expectations. The projects successfully procured and delivered were contracted including but not limited to the Missouri Department of Transportation, The Office of Administration, Corp of Engineers, Federal Lands, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Veterans Affairs, Arkansas Department of Transportation, numerous cities, counties and Private Equity Developers
